Scholar's Bowl
Scholars Bowl Mission Statement:
To provide students an opportunity to enhance their academic and cultural knowledge using a challenging, exciting and enjoyable format while strengthening their overall character, attitude, and sportsmanship.
What is Scholars Bowl?
Scholar Bowl is a competitive academic team. Members answer questions regarding several academic and cultural disciplines. Not only does scholar bowl provide its members a forum to shine academically; but also provides a fantastic avenue for social networking among students.
Who Can Participate:
Any 9-12 student provided they come to all practices, are involved in all fundraising, and stay eligible all year by maintaining good attendance, grades, and behavior.
When and Where?
Scholars Bowl will meet once a week for practice beginning in October. Practices will be held in either Miss Vandiver, Miss Orozco, or Miss Walker’s classrooms. Tournaments are all day events that are typically held on Saturdays. Matches vary depending on where you go.
